United Way of Northern California - The United Way of Northern California has established a disaster relief fund, called the NorCal Disaster Relief Fund, to aid victims of the Camp Fire.  They will offer emergency cash and other forms of emergency assistance to help people who have lost their homes. To donate click HERE or text BUTTEFIRE to 91999.


These are fundraisers/solicitations for gifts organized by individuals, not non-profit organizations.  btc cannot vouch for their authenticity, although we do not have any information to suggest that they are fraudulent requests.  

GoFundMe site for Gulbransen Family -  A GoFundMe site for a high school friend of a btc member.  While they are raising money for a family, the son, Christian, is a 25 year-old man with autism.  He lost his 
collection of books, DVD's, etc. that he is passionate about.  The request also details a need for therapy workbooks & supplies.

Paradise Fire Adopt-a-Family -  This Facebook group was started by a couple in Rocklin and later joined by other private groups.



American Red Cross
- For information on what the Red Cross is doing to help, click HERE.  You can donate online HERE or by calling 1- 800-RED CROSS or texting the word CAWILDFIRES to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

GoFundMe - has a list of verified campaigns to help those affected by the California Wildfires HERE

California Community Foundation - The California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund supports intermediate and long-term recovery efforts for the California wildfires.  Click HERE to donate.

California Fire Foundation - has mobilized direct assistance has mobilized to those who’ve suffered catastrophic losses in the Camp Fire and Woolsey Fire, through its Supplying Aid to Victims of Emergency (SAVE) program. Click HERE to donate.

Disaster Recovery Network -  has established a California Wildfire Relief Fund through Global Giving to provide relief to people impacted by the fires in the form of emergency supplies like food, water, and medicine in addition to longer-term recovery assistance to help residents recover and rebuild.  ABC Sacramento affiliate KXTV, in partnership with media company HeartThreads, is also raising money for this fund.  Click HERE to donate. 

The Humane Society of Ventura County - is accepting donations to help all animals in their care, including evacuees from the Woolsey and Hill Fires.  They anticipate many of the evacuee animals will be relying on them for long-term care.  Click HERE to donate. According to their website, the HSVC is not affiliated with the Humane Society of the United States or any national animal welfare organizations, nor do they receive any funding from the city, county or state.

Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation - is seeking donations to pay for food, shelter and medical care for dogs, cats, horses and other displaced animals through their Noah's Legacy Fund.  You can make a special donation to the Noah’s Legacy Fund by mailing your contribution to The Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation at P.O. Box 100515, Pasadena, CA 91189-0515 or by clicking HERE and specifying the Noah’s Legacy Fund in your contribution.

United Way of Greater Los Angeles - In partnership with United Way of Ventura County, the United Way of Greater Los Angeles’ Southern California Disaster Relief Fund is supporting low-income neighbors whose lives and livelihoods are affected by the current wildfires in Southern California.  To donate click HERE.
